Chicken, Shrimp, and Sausage Jambalaya

This classic Cajun recipe features all of your favorite flavors from The Big Easy! It serves a small family and is incredibly flexible, with plenty of substitution opporrtunities for picky eaters and a spice content that is to taste. With a jazzy taste mixed with comfort, this dish is sure to wow!



  1. In a large skillet, cook the celery, onion, and green pepper in margarine or butter until the vegetables are tender.

  2. Stir in the undrained tomatoes, chicken broth, rice, basil, garlic salt, pepper, hot sauce, and bay leaves.

  3. Bring to boiling, then reduce heat.

  4. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.

  5. Stir in the proteins, then cook until heated through.

  6. Discard bay leaves.

  7. Enjoy!
